What is Baltic Amber
Amber is fossilized tree resin. Baltic amber (mined near the Baltic Sea) releases an oil containing succinic acid. Absorbed into the skin, succinic acid works like a natural Ibuprofen, blocking pain and reducing inflammation and helps take the edge off of many types of discomfort associated with dental issues, headaches, joint pain, etc. It is a well known European method to help decrease the pain associated with teething.
How Baltic Amber Works
When Baltic amber is worn close to the skin, body temperature heats the amber and releases its natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
- Each bead is knotted in between as the necklace is designed to break under tension for safety.
- Not recommended to be worn for sleeping or bath time.
- Child is not to chew on the beads. (several sizes available to keep tight to the body without being constricting)
