Pandemic restrictions have been easing for the general public, while at the same time Covid transmissions are reported to be increasing, we wanted to provide a quick update to our patients.
First please note — Restrictions have not eased for dental offices
Mask mandates still apply to dental offices. While it is true that mask mandates have been lifted for most settings, they are still applicable to health care settings, which includes dental offices.
What that means for your visit
That means we will continue asking you to wear your mask upon arrival for your appointment with us. We also will continue to screen for symptoms (take your temperature) and have you rinse your mouth before your treatment. Plus we’ll ask you to to be considerate by maintaining physical distance between other patients and staff.
In addition, the Dr. Poz team will continue wearing our masks, as well as other personal protective equipment (PPE), during your appointment and treatment. We have many patients with various health concerns so everyone is treated with universal precaution.
We are doing our best to make all our patients feel safe in this time of ongoing infections. Thank you for your compliance and understanding with us as we continue these practices until they are lifted (hopefully soon) for healthcare settings. Stay safe and well.
